The monthly city reports
Each month, when the police publish new figures on police.uk, a short report is published for each of the 20 biggest UK cities with police.uk data. The reports are written automatically from those figures, under Rafael's name, and every number in a report is checked against the figures before it is published: a report with a number that does not match is not published.
The figures themselves are police-recorded crime: what the police record, not every crime that happens. How the figures are counted.
